BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Buckinghamshire

The dial is on the garden wall. It shows 3am to 1pm in hours (and half and quarters for pm), with only 7am to 1pm numbered. The noon line is thicker than others. There is a sun face at the top. The gomon root is off the dial. The motto across the foot reads: "Time’s thievish progress", and is a star on each side.
