BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Wiltshire

The dial is in the playground. It was made using ’Make a Sundial’ and via a school competition for the design. The dial shows 6am to 6pm (GMT) in hours, and the numerals are accompanied by codes in stars and moons - different for BST and GMT. There is a time capsule below the date scale. No longitude correction.
