BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Haggerston Park, Tower Hamlets

The gnomon is a long rod supported by three legs. Elongated diamond slab under the gnomon serves as compass. Shows 4am to 8pm in hours using numbered stone hour markers. Numerals read from outside. Plans dated 1956, in Hackney Archives show Arabic Nos as well as Roman. The dial uses Roman Nos.
