BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Pickering Place, Westminster

4-ring armillary sphere showing 5am to 7pm in hours. Upward pointing arrow gnomon. Set on fluted cylindrical pedestal with round capital and square base. To find Pickering Place go along St James Street and look for either a closed gate or the number "3" above its entrance. A covered passageway runs between two 16th century shops and leads to a tiny courtyard with the sundial.
