The Dial House, Kensington & Chelsea

Although designed as a direct south dial, it is mounted on an east-facing wall at the extreme western end of Cornwall Gardens. Black lines and black sun on Stone ground. Shows 6am to 6pm in hours. Uses XII and IV. Numerals vertically arranged but not aligned. Pierced sheet triangular gnomon featuring spade, scythe and hourglass motif. Set into the wall by four stone clamps/corbels.
