BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Marlow Lock, Marlow

Repoussé copper vertical declining dial overlooking the lock. The dial, which declines to the west, shows 8:30am to 6pm in half hours. There is a sunface at the gnomon root and a semicircle from which the hour lines radiate. Half hour markers have arrowheads. The dialplate has scalloped corners and is fixed with four screws. The motto reads "Fugit Umbra". The maker’s mark is "F Barker & Son, London". Francis Barker’s 1907 catalogue of sundials shows that the price was £12.
