BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Layer Marney Tower (1), Layer Marney

Large dial set near to edge of tower, high up on SW wall. No dialplate now but outline of original still visible. Bar gnomon with unusual A-leg double supporter at end. A companion dial which declined 20-25E used to be on the opposite side of the building.
