BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Giles’ Church, Great Maplestead

Stone is too worn to see anything. Strip gnomon with curved strip supporter. Date is in plaque above dial and may not be correct. Dial mounted over window of South transept, held by 3 iron dog nails. Possible date of dial is 1660.
