BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Motto reads: "In the garden of bountiful memory there can be but sunshine". Motto is at South of dial, in script. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from the outside. Shows 4am to 8pm in half and quarter hours. Hour lines emanate from a circle centred on gnomon root and pass through the numerals. Noon gap. Strange pattern left by missing gnomon. This appears not to have had its root in the correct place though the furniture is correctly drawn.. (Might the gnomon have been on wrong way round?} Three hole fixing. Set on ornately decorated white stone baluster pillar with large circular capital and smaller base. Located in section ’O’.
