BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Suffolk

The sundial is located in the south-east area of the churchyard. The square dialplate is placed on a circular plate which carries various memorial inscriptions dating from 1939. It is set on a square brick pedestal with a square capital and base. An inscription around the capital reads: ’Loves Greatest Gift Remembrance’. The dial shows the time from 4am to 8pm in half and quarter hours. The gnomon has an ’S’ shaped supporter.
