BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Suffolk

Horizontal memorial sundial in churchyard. The dial shows the hours from 4am to 8pm with 30, 15 and 7.5 minute divisions. There is an 8-point compass rose with lettered directions inscribed at the centre of the dial plate. The gnomon is missing. The dial is set on a square section tapered pedestal with a cross in relief on the side and with a square capital and two step base. The base has memorial inscriptions and dates of 1933 - 1943.
