BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Essex

Modern dial. Shows 4am to 8pm in half hours. Sunface at centre False date of 1666. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from outside. Noon gap.Single curley supporter to gnomon. Set on rough finished tapered cylindrical pedestal with square capital and large square base. Located in churchyard.
