BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Essex

Shows 4am to 8pm in half and quarter hours. Half hour markers are outward pointing and end with a dot. Numerals aligned with hour lines are read from outside. Noon gap. Triangular sheet gnomon with unusual upper extended point. Set on square chamfered capital on tapered square scetion pedestal and base. Located in churchyard.
