BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Essex

Shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15 and 5 min marks. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals aligned with hour lines and viewed from outside the chapter ring. Noon gap. Four-dot motif to inward half hour marks. 5 min marks arranged in outermost ring without numerals. Knuckle duster piercing to gnomon which is bulbous at top end. Un-engraved portion of chapter ring at S. Two hole fixing. Memorial to Florence S Bishop and Arthur George Bishop 1934/36. Mounted on pink granite square section painted pedestal set on three brick tier rectangular base.
