BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Lincolnshire

The dial will be found on a small corbel to the lower right of the south transept window. It shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15 and 7.5 minute marks, using XII and IIII. Th numerals being read from outside the chapter ring. There is a single embellished ’S’ supporter to the gnomon. A motto on the corbel reads: ’Tempus Fugit’. On the church wall above and behind the corbel there are traces of a previous transitional dial, with hour lines and pock marks for hour and half-hour divisions.
