BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Lincolnshire

Simple dial showing 4pm to 8pm in half and quarter hours. Noon gap. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from inside the chapter ring and aligned with hour lines. Dot ended inward half hour markers. Unusual vertical gnomon supporter with upwardly curved base bar. Set on rough hewn chamfered square (ie non-regular octagonal) capital on three blocks of masonry, now slightly sunken and leaning to the north. Gnomon appears to be slightly twisted anticlockwise in 2000.
