BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Northamptonshire

Motto reads: "Every hour shortens life". Dial purchased from Pitsford Hospital Northampton prior to its closure - with that motto no wonder the place closed. Shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15 and 5 min marks. Noon gap. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from outside. Three hole fixing. Stepped sigmoidal gnomon with angle of 51.5 degs. Dial inset into octagonal capital of octagonal bulbous lower fluted pedestal.
