BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Northamptonshire

Shows 7am to 5pm in quarter hours - timescale marked 6am to 6pm.. No specific half hour markers. Hour lines drawn from a square at gnomon root through to the dialplate edge but passing under the chapter ring. Split Noon line. Gnomon in the shape of a dolphin. 4-hole fixing. Set on square section reconstituted stone pedestal. An attractive dial. Received as a present in 1990.
