BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Northamptonshire

The cottage is next ti the Baptist church. The motto reads: "Shine not for one but for all", in a scroll around the compass rose. Shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15 and 7.5 min marks. Split Noon line. Numerals read from outside dial. Hour lines pass through numerals. Gnomon aligned with mid-point of flats. Gnomon has single ’S’ supporter and is bent downwards. Three hole fixing. On spiral column of clay shingles.
