BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Northamptonshire

An inscription reads: "The Manor Cottage Kilsby, AD2000 Peng & David Ward Lat 52 20, Long 01 09". Hexagonal piece of brass with three hole fixing and simple solid triangular sheet gnomon. No obvious split Noon line. Hour and half hour lines drawn equally from edge to a double inner semicircle. Very small - or possibly even no, numerals though Roman numerals are reported. Shows 7am to 4pm. Gnomon in line with corners of hexagon. Set on circular capital on fluted cylindrical column in the back garden.
