BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Northamptonshire

Motto reads: "Let others tell of storms and showers, I’ll only count your sunny hours". This around outer edge. Modern pressed dial. False date of 1767. Sun face at centre surrounded by compass. Shows 4am to 8pm in half and quarter hours. Split Noon. Three hole fixing. Knuckleduster piercing to gnomon support. Gnomon bent slightly down.
