BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Northamptonshire

Three ring sphere, rusting in places. Found in vegetable patch. White painted time circle with black numerals and marks strangely showing 3am to 9pm in half hours. Upward pointing arrow gnomon. Set on an upward tapering octagonal section brass base decorated with 24 zodiac like panels. Thought to be 30 years old when bought new in 2000.
