BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Chestnut Cottage, King’s Sutton

Made from painted metal this vertical dial declines about 15°north of west. In white on a blue background are the hours II - IX divided into halves and quarters. The half hour lines each have a gap in the middle. It has the date MCMXCIV and across the top,is the motto ’Dum vivimus vivamus’ (While we live let us enjoy life).
