BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Northamptonshire

Inscr reads: "Sandford Stone". Motifs in corners showing and naming seasons. Shows 4am to 8pm in hours. Uses XII and IV. Numerals viewed from outside. Numerals, hour markers, compass and season images all in relief. Seasonal names engraved. Leaf décor gnomon supporter. Gnomon aligned along diagonal of square. Mounted on white cylindrical fluted column with ’Greek’ like carving to the under capital. Square plinth.
