BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Northamptonshire

Motto reads: "Be as true to each other as this dial is to the sun". Modern cast dial made for lower latitudes. EoT monthly table set in circular "Add Minutes, Subtract Minutes" scale. EoT corrections given are strange, 4mins for 15th April, 14th June and 25th Dec imply an included longitude correction. Shows 5am to 7pm in half and quarter hours. Uses XII and IV. Numerals read from outside. Single ’S’ gnomon supporter. Set on slender cast metal pole with 4leaf clover style base.
