BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Northamptonshire

Replica dial with false date of 1667. Shows 4am to 8pm in half and quarter hours. Gnomon has been bent upward so as to distort its shape and that of its supporter. Three hole fixing. N-S line splits one face of the octagon. [Owner’s name is Shorley]
