BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Northamptonshire

Reported as a possible mass dial yet the drawing shows a downward gnomon. The recorder says it is either very old and crude or an attempt at a homemade dial. The house is owned by Lady Wellesley so suspicion is of something old. More information requested. Temporarily held for both Registers.
