BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Northamptonshire

The Hall is a Grade II listed building of the late 19th century. The dial is in the rear garden. The motto reads: "Look upon my face without the sun, I shall not mark the course that he doth run. So let the dark days unrecorded be but number every glowing hour like me". There is a compass rose.
