BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Northamptonshire

Motto reads: "Sunny hours". Shows 4am to 8pm in hours. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from outside. Decorative circles, infill and banding. Three dot motif between numerals is not a half hour marker. Knuckleduster gnomon piercing. Two hole fixing. Set on large circular reconstituted stone capital with outer circle of radial ribbing mounted on a upwards tapering square section pedestal. Gift to owners.
