BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

13 New Road, Geddington

Motto reads: "Set me right and use me well and I ye time to you will tell". Inscr on pedestal reads: "Serene stand I among the flowers and only mark life’s sunny hours; For him dark days do not exist, brazen faced old optimist". Dial dated 1796 but house built in 1929. Shows 4am to 8pm in half and quarter hours all in ’semicircular’ flower shapes. Unusual two part circular section downward tapering pedestal with circular base.
