BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Northamptonshire

The dial is scored over four stones set in the south wall above a lower section of roof. It has the appearance of being redrawn more than once. No numerals are visible yet there is a chapter ring. It appears to show 7am to 5pm in hours so maybe it is a declining dial, but there is insufficient detail to take a decision. The recorder ticked Roman numerals on the reporting form but these are not visible in the photo.
