BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Motto reads: ’In caelo quies’ (There is ease in heaven). Black painted numerals and lines on white ground. Semicircle at gnomon root with sun and moon symbols within. Shows 6am to 6pm in half and quarter hours. Hour and half hour lines full drawn to semicircle. Noon marked by cross patty. Uses IV. Hour numerals separated in chapter ring by dots.
