BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Cottesbrooke Hall Gardens, Cottesbrooke

The dial is in the Dutch Garden. The motto reads: "Clarior Hinc Honos". Breakarch design. Two lions, one on either side, support a Coat of Arms above the dialplate of Woolavington (ex Lavington Park W Sussex). Three hour lines are drawn above the horizon. Shows 6am to 7pm in hours though lines and numerals are provided for 4and 5am and for 8pm. Uses XII and IIII. The lower corners of the dial plate are inset.
