BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Jersey

Mottoes read: "La derniere est inconnue", at top and "Nos jours passent comme une ombre" in scroll. Breakarch design with motto in arch and another in scroll across front. Incised and painted lettering/lines on slate ground. Shows 7am to 6pm in half hours. Uses XII and IV. Numerals vertically aligned. Hour lines pass through numerals. Large iron rod gnomon with single supporter and shoe attachment. A few dials on the Island like this one. Dial originally on St Clement Church (JY 688474).
