BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Kildare

he dial is in the yard behind the house. It is a painted circular moulded dial on a brown rectangular base, with brown lines and numerals on a white chapter ring. It shows 11am to 7pm in hours. The noon line is drawn across a spiral décor, while other lines are restricted to the chapter ring. The aluminium triangular sheet gnomon has the end cut out, and is held by a fibreglass spigot.
