BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Holy Trinity Church, Dartford

This dial is located on the interior inclined sill of a stained glass window in the south wall. Dated 1820, it bears the names of the Vicar of the time, the Rev John Currey, and the Churchwardens, J Colyer and T Sears. It is possible that it was a gift to the Vicar on his 85th birthday. The hour numerals and the inscription are held on a brass strip, the hour lines themselves being inscribed on the sloping stone sill.
