BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Old Swan House, Sandhurst

This is a painted wood sundial declining 42 deg. east with a motto at the top that reads: "Lux et Umbra Vicissim Sed Semper Amor". It has gold furniture on a turquoise base. The date is in a semicircle at the root of a long gnomon. There is a Zodiac ring within the chapter ring with zodiac symbols at each hour. Hours are shown from 4am to 3pm in half hours. Roman numerals use the form XII and IIII. The gnomon is supported from the noon line by a single supporter. The dial is mounted on white a painted clapboarded house front.
