BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial is set into brickwork at first floor level, above the door on the north side of the court. The inscription reads: "Donavit / Isaac Newton / University Lodge No 859 / To celebrate the Year 2000". The gnomon is in shape of a square and compasses. Upright hours VI - XII - IV - V, with hour lines to an unmarked semicircle around the gnomon root. Gold markings and lettering on slate ground, all set in stone surround. (The hour lines are not infilled.) Signed in script in the bottom right corner. This dial was an entry in the 2005 BSS Sundial Design Competition.
