BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Hertfordshire

Motto reads: "Time is Money". Two dragons face each other rising over the points of the compass. Shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15 and 7.5 min marks. Split noon. Open gnomon with scroll supporter. Mounted on stone baluster pedestal (770h) with square capital. Dial originally installed at Chesham, Bucks [W0035/N5142/SP960018]. Installed at Berkhamsted in 1987.
