BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Jersey

Circular slate dial with gold lines and numerals. Circle around gnomon root from which hour lines emanate. Hour lines extend very slightly into the chapter ring. Shows 8am to 7pm in half hours. Half hour markers are short inward pointing lines. Shaped gnomon with ’sharp’ style edge, pointed upper end and single ’S’ supporter. Gnomon is surface mounted with a two point offset fixing. Property now a luxury Hotel.
