Imperial College at Wye, Wye

This is one of three dials at the college and this one is located in the gable of the quad. It has a motto that reads: ’I tell only the sunny hours’. Hours are shown from 10 am to 7pm in half hours. Roman numerals use the form XII and IV. The lines, numerals and border are gold on a slate ground. There is a small solid gnomon set along the noon line instead of a sub style line but tilted to provide correct angle for the style. The dial is mounted within brick gable end of the building. It is a memorial dial to EAJ d 1958.
