This 3 ring Armillary sphere is on the rear lawn of the college. It is one of three dials to be found here. The motto reads: ’Make time, save time, while time lasts, all time is no time when time is past’. This is on the circumference of the meridian ring. Hours are shown from 6am to 6pm in half hours. Roman numerals use the form XII for Noon. The dial is mounted on an octagonal baluster pedestal, capital and base. 1000h. A Millennium gift to the College. Visible from road through gateway.
