BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
Inscriptions read: "I stand amyddst ye floures to tell ye passinge of ye houres" and "From two Englishmen of Llanwrin 1950". Shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15 and 7.5 min marks. Roman numerals read from outside the chapter ring. On slim sandstone pedestal about 1000h.
