BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Northumberland

The dial is set into the stone wall over the back door, 3m above ground level. The date is just visible at the top. The dial shows 6am to 6pm in hours, with vertical numerals using XII and IV. The lower supporter to the gnomon is broken through corrosion.
