BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Essex
Shows 4am to 8pm (del 3:30 - 8:30) in 30, 15 and 7.5 min marks. Uses XII and IIII. Split Noon line. Numerals read from inside the chapter ring. Hour lines drawn from gnomon root through numerals. Sunface centred on dial centre with outer circumference passing through the root. Eight peripheral fixing holes and two within the body. Mounted on a modern circular section baluster pedestal with square capital and base all on a large circular plinth. Replacement gnomon is of angle 50 degs (dial lines are drawn for 54 degs) and is too thick.
