BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

North side of A612 through village, Burton Joyce

Half ring type with free standing gnomon. Hours marked by circles and half hours by dots with ’GMT’ identified by Roman numerals and ’BST’ by Arabic. Gnomon located in circular brick planter and equatorial band located on ends of two side walls. Side panels give history of village. Shows 6am to 6pm (GMT) 7am to 7pm (BST) in half hours. Hours marked by larger dots in the middle of the hour band, half hours by smaller ones.
