BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas

War Memorial dial. The axis of the world map corresponds to the Greenwich Meridian. Hour marks on slabs 280 square. Shows 5am to 7pm in Roman numerals. Date scale set out to resemble a conifer, in allusion to the arboretum. First and only monument to be erected by the Honourable Company of Master Mariners.
