BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Shropshire

Inscr reads: "St Mary’s Church *** 1996". Shows 5am to 7pm in half and quarter hours. Numerals read from inside the chapter ring. Uses XII and IV. Split noon. N-S line bisects one side. EoT as a graph on S side of dial. Pierced gnomon. Mounted on low-fluted sandstone baluster pillar with square capital and large two-stepped square base. This dial replaces one of 1792 by Thomas Rider of Broomhill.
