BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial is mounted on a cylindrical stone pedestal. It shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15, 5 and 2 minute marks, with a split noon, using XII and IIII, the numerals being read from outside the chapter ring. Half hours are marked by lozenge décor in the mid-line, and hour lines pass through the numerals. There is an EoT scale of the Watch Faster/Slower type. An inscription reads ’Thos Harris & Son / British Museum London’.
