BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Wyken Hall, Stanton

The dial is in the east garden near the house, standing on a cylindrical stone pedestal (1100h & 300dia) with circular capital and plinth. The motto reads: "Hours Fly". Sunface nearly at gnomon root with decorative ring between it and the chapter ring. Shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15 and 7.5 min marks. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from outside the chapter ring. Hour lines extend from the sunface ring through the numerals. Split noon line. Three hole fixing. Open gnomon with ’S’ supporter.
